Many assume that online casino mobile apps are simply a "lite" version of the desktop website. For GTR99, this is not the case at all. The GTR99 development team built their mobile app from the ground up with a mobile-first approach – meaning the app is not just a shrunken version of the website, but a fully redesigned experience built for touchscreens.
One of the most noticeable things is how smoothly you navigate within the GTR99 app. Moving between sections – from the home page to slots, bingo, and sports – happens instantly with no annoying lag. This is achieved through smart content preloading, where the app fetches background data before you even arrive at the page.
Another standout feature of the gtr99 app is its limited offline functionality. While live games require an internet connection, you can still view your game history, transaction records, account details, and previously downloaded promotions without mobile data — incredibly handy when you're in an area with poor coverage.
The GTR99 app also supports biometric login – either fingerprint or face recognition depending on your device. This means you no longer need to type your password every time you want to play. Simply touch or glance at your phone and you're securely logged into your GTR99 account.
For data-conscious users, GTR99 also offers a data saver mode in the app settings. When enabled, it reduces non-essential animations and graphics while maintaining core game quality, so your gaming experience stays enjoyable without burning through your data quota too quickly.
Installing the GTR99 app on an Android device is slightly different from installing a regular app from the app store, but the process is still straightforward and secure. Here is the complete guide:
Go to your phone's Settings → Security → enable "Install apps from unknown sources" or "Allow APK installation". This step is only required once.
Visit the GTR99 registration page and create an account first if you are a new user, or log in to your existing account to get a valid download link.
Tap the Android download button provided. The APK file will automatically download to your phone's "Downloads" folder. This usually takes less than 30 seconds on a 4G connection.
Open your phone's file manager, locate the GTR99 APK file in the Download folder, tap the file and follow the on-screen installation instructions. Installation takes approximately 15 seconds.
Once installation is complete, the gtr99 icon will appear on your phone's home screen. Open the app, log in with your account credentials, and start enjoying all gtr99 games.
Tip: Always download the GTR99 APK from official sources only. Avoid downloading from unknown third-party websites to keep your device and account secure.
Installing the GTR99 app on an Apple device differs slightly from Android. Because Apple enforces strict policies regarding gambling apps on the App Store in certain regions, GTR99 provides a safe and legitimate alternative installation method for iOS users in Malaysia.
Use the Safari browser (not Chrome or any other browser) for this process, as the installation profile only works through Safari on iOS devices.
Access your GTR99 account page and navigate to the iOS Download section. Valid installation links are only available to registered GTR99 members.
Tap "Allow" when iOS asks for permission to install the configuration profile. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → Trust the GTR99 profile.
Once the profile is trusted, the gtr99 app icon will appear on your home screen. Open the app and log in with your gtr99 account credentials to start playing.
iOS Note: If you are using iOS 16 or later, the "Trust Developer" step may look slightly different. The GTR99 support team is available via live chat to assist you with any installation issues.
One of the greatest strengths of the gtr99 app is its complete game selection. Unlike some mobile apps that only offer a fraction of the games compared to the desktop version, the gtr99 app delivers the full catalogue — exactly what you'd find on the website.
Slots: Over 500 slot titles are available in the app, including classic 3-reel slots, modern video slots with high-quality animations, popular themed slots, and progressive jackpot slots with ever-growing prize pools. Leading slot providers such as Pragmatic Play, Spadegaming, and many more are all available in the GTR99 app.
Sports & Virtual Sports: The sports betting section in the GTR99 app covers a wide range of markets including football, basketball, tennis, badminton, and many more. Live betting with real-time odds updates is fully available in the app with a display optimised for mobile screens.
Bingo: All gtr99 bingo rooms — from 75-ball and 90-ball to 30-ball mini — are fully accessible through the app. The in-room chat feature also works seamlessly on mobile, complete with a comfortable touch keyboard.
Fish Shooting Games: The fish shooting games popular among Malaysia players are now available with enhanced graphics in the GTR99 app. Touch controls are optimised specifically for these games, making the fish shooting experience more responsive and enjoyable compared to using a mouse.
Live Casino: Play against real players and live dealers via high-quality video streaming. Live Casino games such as baccarat, roulette, blackjack, and sic bo can all be enjoyed comfortably through the GTR99 app on mobile.
Reminder: You must be 18 years of age or older to register and use the GTR99 app. Play responsibly and set your limits in the account settings.
